Oxford Street, London | Christmas 2025

As a focal point of Oxford Street, Selfridges London presented a spectacular Disney-inspired light and music show each evening, brought to life through The Foreign Office’s bespoke lighting design and programming, making it a destination for thousands of visitors and shoppers throughout the festive period. The Foreign Office designed and programmed the dynamic façade illumination, transforming over 100 metres of the building into a fully choreographed architectural canvas.

The lighting sequence triggered by Tinker Bell’s pixie dust, ignited a sweeping display of sparkling light that travelled across the store’s exterior. The programmed animation revealed 40 radiant stars, the iconic Jolly Roger from Disney’s Peter Pan, and Cinderella’s carriage — all precisely synchronised to the Disney Cinderella soundtrack.

We’re beyond excited to share the magic with our customers and see the joy on their faces as they enjoy the light show on the façade…and create memories at our spectacular experiences.

Scale and intensity built, culminating at the corner of Oxford and Duke Street with the reveal of an 11-metre-tall, custom-built 3D Disney Castle. As the largest installation to feature on the store in more than half a century, the castle forms the dramatic centrepiece of the design — its lighting meticulously programmed by The Foreign Office to deliver a magical, show-stopping finale.

This Installation was nominated for the 2026 Windowswear Awards for the best use of light.
